I'm a teacher, Ayla. When I gave a test in my class at school, I had to make the kids write their answers on a piece of paper because I had 25 kids who all needed to take the test at the same time. But if you're homeschooled, you could take a test just by talking to your mom and dad about what you've been learning. A test is just a way of finding out how much you have been learning. It doesn't have to be paper and a pencil. My name is Roberta. Eleanor is my dog. ;-)
I asked my two kids (both homeschooled) your question. Here are their answers.
ReplyDeleteGamer (age 10): Our mom gives us spelling tests just like in regular school. (He didn't have much else to say)
Bitty Bee (age 7): Some of us go to co-op (classes with other homeschoolers), some of us use workbooks, some of us do school on the computer.
